Simon the open source voice recognition project
The open source project Simon has released the latest version of its speech recognition software. Voice or speech recognition can be beneficial for individuals who are unable to access a computer with a standard keyboard or mouse. Using a series of ‘voice commands’ it is possible to add text to documents, move the mouse around the desktop, browse the Internet, send and receive emails and open and close programs.
The latest version of Simon now offers a range of new improved features, e.g., improved accuracy and greater flexibility.
