Sustain HMIThat’s the title of a new report published on 30th October by HMIE. It investigates the engagement of the colleges with sustainable development, one of five strategic themes in the Scottish Funding Council’s Corporate Plan for 2009-12. The report aims to highlight good practice in sustainable development and the findings are derived primarily from fieldwork and interviews in 10 colleges across the sector and the country. Examples range from a red squirrel feeder engineering project at Dundee College through to a low carbon construction initiative at South Lanarkshire. Click here to view the report.
