A JISC funded study by the Centre for Digital Library Research (University of Strathclyde) has found that the technical interoperability between libary systems, institutional repositories and other institutional systems is currently limited.
The report makes a number of recommendations for improvements in this area, including better communication between departments and consistency across systems.
