Let Me Type works in a similar way to Microsoft Word’s AutoText but will work in any Windows application which allows for text input. As you type, a list of the most probable words appear in the prediction window. The prediction window can be placed anywhere on the screen so it doesn’t get in the way as you type.
LetMe Type is also very flexible and can be customised to suit the needs of different learners, e.g., you can customise the prediction window by adjusting the font, font size, colour and colour background. It is also possible to set the amount of predicted words which appear in the prediction window.

LetMe Type predicts words as you type.
The best feature of LetMe Type is that you can create subject specific lexicons, e.g., sociology, psychology, biology etc. LetMe Type would probably be useful for someone who is a slow typist and would like to increase their typing speed and accuracy.
One disadvantage of LetMe Type is that it can learn words as they are typed, which also means it will learn misspellings. However, the feature can be turned off if required.
LetMy Type is free and can be used portably from a USB stick.

You might want to check out PhraseExpress that does the same like LetMeType, except it does *not* accidentally learn misspellings. It also can suggest to auto-complete full sentences rather than just single words.

Hi George
Thanks for letting me know about this. Would we be able to freely distribute the software from our site http://www.eduapps.org?
